Al-Fatihah

Surah Al-Fatihah is the opening chapter of the Holy Quran and is recited multiple times daily by believers during their prayers. Among all the chapters, Al-Fatihah is the most frequently recited and can rightly be regarded as the introduction to the Quran. Comprising seven verses, including the Bismillah, Al-Fatihah conveys profound spiritual meanings. This book explores the ideas of Al-Fatihah by taking each verse as a heading and providing a detailed explanation. The work is co-authored by Shihab Ghanem, a distinguished Arab poet, writer, and scholar residing in the UAE, along with his son, Dr. Waddah, who is also a writer and scholar. Dr. Shihab Ghanem, who has deep connection with India, is recognized as the first Arab recipient of the Tagore Peace Award.
